Three-tier Architecture:
Three-tier architecture is a client server architecture in which the functional
process logic, computer data storage, database access and user interface are
developed and maintained.
The essential components within 3-tier architecture
are:
(i) Client pc /
presentation
(ii) Application server
(iii) Database server

(i) Presentation tier: Occupies
the top level displaying in functional related to service available on a
website. This tier communicates with other tier by sending results.
(ii) Application tier: Application
tier also called as middle tier, logic tier, business logic tier. This tier
pulled from the presentation tier.
(iii) Database tier:
Houses of server where information is stored and retrieved. Data in this tier
is kept in dependent.
