Semiconductor diode:
A semiconductor diode is a device typically mode from a single p-n junction. At
the junction is mode of p-type and n-type semiconductor. The p-type
semiconductor has excess holes and is of positive charge. The n-type
semiconductor has excess electrons and is of negative charge.
